How is a Mat+ class different from a COREtet class?
Mat+ classes are slightly larger, with up to 10 participants per session. Instead of Pilates apparatus (e.g., the reformer), you’ll utilize small props such as foam rollers, the Magic Circle, and more to achieve full-body conditioning.
I'm worried I can't do all of the movements. Is a Mat+ class right for me?
The most important prerequisite for Mat Pilates is that you can get down to the floor and back up again. As always, we recommend you complete a few private lessons before starting group classes. All this said, our teachers can help you learn how to use props and modifications to make matwork more accessible, regardless of your experience level!

Why do you recommend private Pilates lessons for all new clients? lessons different from COREtet classes?
No two Pilates practices or practice spaces are entirely alike. Private lessons are an excellent way to familiarize yourself with the Pilates cues, techniques, and apparatus we use. During private lessons you’ll get to know both the Fletcher Pilates® Method and your own body’s needs more intimately, which translates to more effective practice in our COREtet and small group classes.

Is a COREtet class different from a reformer Pilates class?
The reformer is just one of the many Pilates apparatuses we utilize during our COREtet classes! We’ll also work with a variety of lesser known Pilates apparatus, including the Cadillac, Combo Chair, Ped-i-Pul, Spine Corrector, Barre, Hard Roller, Magic Circle, and the iconic Fletcher Towel.
Is a COREtet class right for me if I'm new to Pilates?
We believe Pilates is for EVERY BODY! We are also fully aware of the risks involved with moving on large pieces of equipment, especially for those who are new to Pilates or have only practiced on reformers. While our smaller class sizes help us keep everybody moving safely from start to finish, we always recommend anyone new to Pilates sign up for private lessons first. Private lessons will help you get the most out of your Pilates practice, especially if you are suffering from an injury.
Am I limited to just one new client special or can I try all three?

If you would like to purchase two or more new client specials, you will need to purchase directly through our front desk.
